FileMaker Pro to the Max

What is the highest number of concurrent users?
WebDirect: Unlimited
Server Based:
Network Based (without the Server version):

What is the largest image file size that can be stored in FileMaker Pro Container Field?

What is the maximum number of characters in a Text Field?

What is FileMaker Pro's largest Client, in terms of number of Users?

Where is the longest running installation of FileMaker Pro?

How about resilience, data protection, and interfaces to other systems?

There must be a better way to manage Graphic Files in FileMaker Pro Layouts:
Whenever the Main_File File is launched, there are no less than 316(!) PNG Files loaded into the Temp Folder of every User's PC and if the Online Layouts (for the Go or Droid versions) are used, another 67 (!) Chrome HTML Document (.htm) Files are loaded into RAM, totalling 3.773MB (!) of Memory.

Ask FileMaker: If you turn off FileMaker networking, does it affect all files or only the file in which you’ve applies this setting?

Ask FileMaker - The Privilege Sets should also allow the hiding of Layout Folders, so that the remote User cannot see it in the online version.

Ask FileMaker how to: When an Extended Privilege is set for a Privilege Set it only specifies the privileges for the FILE.
How can I use Extended Privileges to specify privileges at Field level?  Say I want the remote user (e.g. on an iPad) to enter a search string into the QuickFind | iPad Field on a Layout, which is set to allow the remote user to View but not Edit Records.
In order to define a security property such as who can read / write or read only to specific fields you would want to define a new privilege set.
More information for this can be found in the FileMaker Pro Help under the help menu of the software here: Home > Designing and creating databases > Protecting databases > Creating and managing privilege sets.
