Ask FileMaker: How to run a Script before the File opens up? 

For example, I want to enter Username and Password automatically, so the User doesn’t have to do this every time they open a file. 

As soon as you set password(s), FMP starts up with a password dialog. 

To prevent this you can automatically fill in (populate) a specified password in the document settings.

No dialog box appears.

If you want to log in with the non-standard password, you have to hold SHIFT (Win) or ALT (MAC) during opening the file.

The password-dialog-box will appear.
