To Amrom, As discussed in the Wiki, in FileMaker RFC file and elsewhere, we need to have tight integration between the Jobs and the Engineers.

Can we have a Field to indicate how the order was placed: eMail, Fax, Verbal etc.?

The Jobs that are assigned to engineers should be displayed in their Contact Record - these are the same Job Records that are browsed when we are in a Landlord's Record and we can see his Orders

Q. The "Jobs" Button brings up a list of Jobs.

Can we have a column with the following labels showing next to each Record: In Progress, Cancelled, Finished, etc.?

Sort Outstanding Jobs by Date, Closure and (non-)Payment

When searching for Records in the Job Diary, the results should always be sorted by Status: Those Jobs that haven't been finished should be first, then those which haven't been paid and finally those who are fully completed

Q. Can we have ready-made phrases, to be used in the Job Diary, eMailing and eventually Accounting?

Example: "Dear Customer, Your order Number 456987 is now being processed. I will update you when it's finished."

Or: "Thank your for your enquiry, bla bla bla" (more details are available for this and other standard messages)
